Hello, and thanks for stopping by RSMP! I’m Josh DeForge, the proud owner and creative force of RSMP. My story isn’t your typical cinematographer’s tale. For 15 years, I was on the frontline as a full-time firefighter/paramedic, facing intense challenges, saving lives, and witnessing life’s unpredictable nature up close.

But then, something changed. Ten years ago, I discovered my love for video production and photography. This wasn’t just picking up a new hobby; it was a profound shift in my life’s direction. Over the past decade, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering this craft, transforming from someone who dealt with life’s toughest moments to someone who captures and celebrates its most joyful ones.
